PluginLab (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Gif Maker Studio for Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. This policy explains how information is handled when you use these plugins or contact us for support.
1. Your documents and artwork
Gif Maker Studio processes documents, artwork, frames, and animation previews locally on your computer. The current plugins do not upload this content to PluginLab servers.
The plugins access document content to perform the operations you request, such as generating previews and exporting GIFs or PNG sequences. They may create temporary rendering and preview files on your computer. Exported files are saved locally.
Any synchronization performed by your operating system, cloud-storage provider, or Adobe software is separate from the plugin’s processing.
2. Information collected by the plugins
The current plugins do not require a PluginLab account and do not include PluginLab-operated analytics, advertising trackers, or automatic reporting of your activity to PluginLab.
Adobe applications and services may separately process information under Adobe’s own privacy policy.
3. Customer support
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, name, message, screenshots, purchase references, or files submitted for troubleshooting.
We use this information to respond to your request, investigate issues, and provide support. Please avoid sending passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details, or confidential document content.
4. Purchases and payments
Where a paid edition is offered through Adobe Marketplace, purchases and billing are handled through Adobe and its payment provider, FastSpring. The plugins do not collect payment-card details.

5. Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information received through customer support.
Service providers used to operate our support communications may process that information on our behalf. We may also disclose information when legally required.
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain relevant support records, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Your locally stored documents and exported files remain under your control.
6. Your privacy requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
Contact us using the email address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Requests concerning information held independently by Adobe or FastSpring should be directed to those providers.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or plugin functionality change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice where required.
If we introduce online activation, subscription verification, or other features involving additional information, we will update this policy to explain that processing.
